The Sunrise Project has developed a unique model of grant making and campaigning that supports networks of organisations to drive change towards its mission. We move fast and embrace the urgency of the climate challenge.

The world has seen recent shifts by financial institutions, banks, investors, insurance companies and central banks away from fossil fuels, particularly coal. Japanese has mostly lagged behind this trend, threatening to undermine the progress other countries have made.
